    I notice you keep using that ZA-ger guitar, I own the same model. I can't read music and every time you say, the 1-4-and 5 chords, you may as well be speaking Latin, as those chords and numbers change with every song key. 😂😜

    • @swiftlessons
      @swiftlessons День назад

      Those numbers simply represent the notes/chords in a given key. If the key of C contains the notes CDEFGABC, then a 1.4.5 would be C-F-G. Yes, I’m really into that Zager, great guitar!

    • @jrm11111955
      @jrm11111955 День назад

      @@swiftlessons Thanks for the info and that helps me with this chord of E, but since I can't read music, the next song in a different key will screw up a dummy like me. Have you noticed the string gap spacing at the nut on that Zager is wider between the high E and B strings than any Acoustic guitar you own, you should be able to see it with the naked eye, if not you can measure it. It helps with fingers causing buzz by hiting each other.

    There’s a much more less complicated manner to present the finger style picking, not sure why or how but I’m stressed AF listening to him figure it. After a while of getting just the nuts and bolts of the pattern presented I figured it out and am like, “dude, there’s a much simpler way of presenting the information than this painstaking exposition and …. It’s an amazing video but wowowow why so complicated dude

    Good job. Easy to understand and follow along. As you probably already know, half the battle in learning an instrument is grasping the concept. Your concept of the song is easy to grasp quickly, which makes learning it that much easier. There's plenty of room for improvisation or simply playing it exactly the way you do. Thumbs up!

    (previous comment I mentioned the bridge, which was wrong of me). Now just: Would it be good to mention that the chorus section has near the end a dotted quarter feel (and what that is)? I like your use of "down, up", and like that you caught the early transition on "[4] and".
